Our Story — Why We Started Rasasya

The Beginning

Every great thing starts with a question. Ours was simple: Why is it so hard to find genuinely fresh, clean mushrooms in Hyderabad? We looked at what was available — imported mushrooms sitting in cold storage for days, produce sprayed with chemicals, food with no story and no soul. We knew there had to be a better way. So we built one.

The Farm

Rasasya Mushrooms began as a passion project in Hyderabad — a small grow room, a few mushroom beds, and a deep commitment to growing the cleanest, freshest oyster mushrooms possible. We chose oyster mushrooms because they are extraordinary. Rich in protein, loaded with immunity-boosting beta-glucans, naturally cholesterol-free, and incredibly versatile in Indian cooking. Yet most people in Hyderabad had never tasted a truly fresh oyster mushroom. We set out to change that.

Our Process

Every morning, before the city wakes up, our team is at the farm. We check the temperature. We check the humidity. We check every bed. When the mushrooms are ready — perfectly formed, full of life — we harvest them by hand. They are cleaned, weighed, packed and dispatched. By the time Hyderabad starts its day, Rasasya mushrooms are already on their way to your kitchen. No cold storage. No sitting in a warehouse. No compromise.

Our Name
